Maruti Suzuki Baleno


The Baleno is the new B+ segment hatchback from Maruti Suzuki. The compact car is positioned above the Swift in the Maruti Suzuki range, making it their most premium hatchback in India. Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, the Baleno is a global product that is solely made in India for the domestic as well as global markets.

Maruti 800


Maruti 800 is a small car that was manufactured by Maruti Suzuki in India from 1983 to 18 January 2014. First generation Maruti 800 (SS80) was based on 1979 Suzuki Fronte and had an 800cc F8B engine, hence the name.



Widely regarded as the most influential automobile in India, about 2.87 million 800s were produced during its course of which 2.66 million were sold in India itself. With over 30 years of production, Maruti 800 remains the second longest production car in India, next only to Hindustan Ambassador.

In an elaborate ceremony held in New Delhi on 14 December 1983, then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi handed over keys of the very first car to Mr. Harpal Singh, who won the ownership rights through a lucky draw.

Maruti Kizashi

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has launched sports sedan Maruti Kizashi in India. Suzuki, Japanese auto major and parent company of Maruti India, sells Suzuki Kizashi in the US and Japanese market. Maruti Kizashi, was showcased for the first time at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show then at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. After showcasing the Maruti Kizashi at different Auto Shows across the world, it was launched commercially in Japan and the US in October 2009 and December 2009 respectively. The company also displayed the production model of the car at the biggest Auto Expo - Delhi Auto Expo 2010.
Maruti Kizashi is a sports sedan which is powered by a 2.4 litre DOHC J–Series engine. The D-segment car's power train is capable of producing peak power of 178 PS at 6,500rpm. The maximum torque from the engine is 230Nm at 4,000rpm in both type of transmission. The braking system is comprised of Electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), Electric Stability Program (ESP) along with the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). Maruti Kizashi is to compete with Honda Accord and Toyota Carmy in India.

 

Kizashi is a Japanese word that stands for 'a sign of great things to come'. The rear view of the car is sportier with twin exhaust system. The front and rear windshields are wider which promise sufficient vision for both sides. Apart from this, the car is expected to have 8 airbags (front, rear and curtain), pushbutton keyless start, power steering, windows and mirrors, Dual-zone climate control, EPS Stability control and ABS, projector beam headlamps etc.

 

Maruti Kizashi Models
Maruti Kizashi MT: The variant comes with a 6-speed Manual transmission. The car accelerated from stand still to 100 Kmph in just 8.8 sec. It is also loaded with entertainment features like CD/MP3 player with FM, 7 speakers, audio streaming and wireless mobile phone integrationaudio streaming and wireless mobile phone integration. It also has sadety features like 6 Airbags, 3-point ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor) seatbelts with pretensioner, force limiter and height adjusters , LATCH Child seat tether anchorages x3, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and child safety locks and DRL (Daytime Running Lights).
Maruti Kizashi CVT: This is a high end variant with same engine and all other same features except the automatic Continuous Variable Transmission. This variant accelerates from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 7.8 sec.
